| What if I've never hired a Boat Before? |
|
Generally we prefer that you have experience and/or boat licence. If you don’t, don't worry - we've had other people do it and so can you! When you come to pick up your boat, full instructions and safety induction will be given before you are allowed to go out on your own so that you have confidence to take the boat out for the day. If still not confident we can provide you with an experienced and qualified skipper for a fraction of the cost. |

How to tie up the boat
|
Well, it's not that difficult but it does take a bit of practice. Basically, you slowly get to within two boat lengths of the jetty. Put the boat into neutral and just glide towards the jetty (be aware of the sea current and wind direction). Then your 'co-pilot' either throws the line to a helping hand on land or leaps out with the line to fasten it to the jetty. |
Reservation
There is a reservation fee of $100.00 per/craft per/day. Any deposits for holiday weekends will be non-refundable. When you arrive to get your rental, the remainder of your rental rate will be due as well as a security deposit. All craft require a TOP2000.00 security deposit to be held on a credit card or cash. Damage deposits are refundable in full when you return your rental boat damage free and have a full tank of gas. The balance of your rental payment is due in full on the first day of the rental period. |
